The Fishing Village in Montrouis depends on our water pumps to provide water from the river to their yards and gardens. The water is pumped into a trench system that flows through the community. This water is used for agriculture, laundry, and livestock.
The water project requires ongoing maintenance on the pumps and hoses. In addition, the pumps run off of fuel. The ministry provides the fuel.

San Pedro Sula is a city where poverty and violence have left many families vulnerable, and where women and children often become trapped in cycles of exploitation. One of our planned outreaches is to take these children and their moms to the local Children’s Museum, followed by pizza. It may sound simple, but for them it is truly an opportunity of a lifetime. It is an escape from danger, a day of joy, and a glimpse of God’s love in action. We will cover the costs of transportation, museum admission, and lunch.
