We engage in refugee support with relocation, employment, education, training, and the immigration process.
We support Haitian refugees in Haiti, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina. The refugees that are in America are under the Humanitarian Parole program through the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Deuteronomy 10:18
Refugees that have come to America need Work Authorization to obtain work in the States legally. This also provides them with their Social Security Number. This is imperative to their success. However, the application fee is $470. We are currently assisting individuals with these fees.
Would you consider sponsoring someone so that they can enter the workforce?
San Pedro Sula is a city where poverty and violence have left many families vulnerable, and where women and children often become trapped in cycles of exploitation. One of our planned outreaches is to take these children and their moms to the local Children’s Museum, followed by pizza. It may sound simple, but for them it is truly an opportunity of a lifetime. It is an escape from danger, a day of joy, and a glimpse of God’s love in action. We will cover the costs of transportation, museum admission, and lunch.
